Old time diner atmosphere, true southern hospitality, phenomenal flavor, and incredible list of options. This cash/check only family owned breakfast place is one you'll be wanting to come back to. All items on the menu have so many options to be cooked the way you love it. We got our bacon crispy and it was melt in your mouth delicious. The omlette had the perfect bacon/cheese ratio. Perfectly made jammy sunny side up eggs. You can not go wrong here. Breakfast was pretty inexpensive and well worth every dollar. The staff all around were super friendly and constantly checked in on you. I can not wait to go back
Classic southern food served by cheerful and gracious staff. A choice of menu items on notice boards, seating in booths or around tables. We enjoyed chicken fried steak/chicken with at least two sides. Cash only but orders can be phoned in. Delicious and filling for great value.
This place is a fixture in the middle of old town Canton. Right on the river. It has that country flare and atmosphere to it. Family owned. They opened up for us on a Saturday morning so that we could have our church men’s group there. Great food as well! Thank you, Abby for getting my biscuits out early for me!
This wonderful homey family owned restaurant serves hands down the best pancakes we’ve ever eaten. They’re the size of a dinner plate and every bite makes you smile. The biscuits are deliciously homemade as well, much like my late great grandfather made us. We will be back over and over again. Thank you folks for the wonderful meals.
If I was on my death bed and could request one last meal, it would be a chicken fried steak, a piece of catfish, coleslaw, fried squash and cornbread from here. Don has such a beautiful soul and aura to him that you don’t find much these days. Great hugs and humor. A family operated joint that anyone from the area or out of town should experience in their lifetime. Thank you for an experience and meal I will remember for the rest of my life!
My low star on food refers too Holiday pickup meals. ( Thanksgiving). VERY DISAPPOINTED. Ordered 2 plates, arrived to go in bowls. Turkey had lumps of grease and was sparingly given. Needless too say little of anything was eaten. Will not order holiday meals again. Otherwise have had pleasant experience eating here
We stopped in for lunch, glad we did. This is a great, family owned local restaurant. Cash or check only. A nice breakfast and lunch menu. I really enjoyed the meatloaf!
Stumbled upon this place while at the court house. Little southern spot that only takes cash and personal checks. Food was very good and beyond generous portions. Good folks working here and eating here. Definitely recommend it
